Marking their foray into the digital world, the highly talked about techno imprint Social Experiment steps away from its usual “no remixes” ethos to commission production heavyweight Chris Liebing for the reworking of a special cut from Toronto artist Mario J under his AD/D moniker.
Mario J has a long musical history, including having run Method 11:11, a much-lauded techno label that ran from 1996 to 2000, which counted CLR boss Chris Liebing amongst its fans. The imprint ran at the same time as Mario’s much loved Industry night club, which housed a series of infamous Method 11:11 label parties amongst other things.
Chris Liebing is a German techno giant who founded CLR and commands vast audiences with his powerful and experimental techno all over the world. For this remix he took loops and sounds from the AD/D original, creating a super-sized, turbo-charged techno roller with pressurised drums, subtle sounds peeling off the groove and huge hi hat ringlets. It destroys all in its wake and is the sound of a post-apocalyptic future.
This is a sensational new track imbued with classic sounds yet very much built for the future, and it is sure to wreak havoc on the dance floors of the world. Once again then Social Experiment offers up a techno gem that is certain to find favour with the underground elite.

The Method remix will be released on the 8th September this year.
