I’ve made no secret of my admiration for Hector Barbour, aka Denis Sulta, and in my mind there is no young DJ or producer at this moment in time that surpasses him. From his scintillating brand of melodic and yet dancefloor destined house, to his high energy eclectic sets that have been wreaking havoc on clubs and festivals for the last few years.
The young Glaswegian has seen releases on Numbers, Dixon Avenue Basement Jams, and Mister Saturday Night and with the launch of his eponymous label earlier this year, Sulta Selects, Barbour’s stock has never been higher
This week's In Case You Missed It we take a look at his set from Sonar. In typical Sulta fashion he cycles through genres seamlessly, with disco anthems, acid, house, and cult classics all featuring heavily throughout.
